How Can We Save More of the Food that We Produce?

Studies show we cannot meet the coming worldwide food shortage by just producing more food. We have to save more of the food that we produce. We have put so few of our resources into the preservation of food relative to food production that we find ourselves with a paucity of technologies and educated personnel to attack this problem.

The WORLD FOOD PRESERVATION CENTER® LLC
meets this challenge by educating young students/scientists in developing countries in the latest postharvest technologies to preserve food in their native countries and develops much needed new technologies for the postharvest preservation of food.  The World Food Preservation Center LLC® serves as a worldwide hub for the generation and dissemination of information on the postharvest preservation of food in developing countries. And, is at the forefront of research on vital new postharvest technologies.
