The University of Lisbon is the largest higher education and research institution in Portugal and a top ranking university in agricultural sciences in Europe. The Freshness Lab for Fruits and Vegetables is the University’s research unit specializing in Postharvest Biology and Technology. Dedicated to research, education, training and consultancy in postharvest biology and the technology of fresh produce.
